"Our women's team achieved the ultimate goal, and we did this with 0 field events. The men's team had some injuries and last minute sickness that definitely lost us some points. But they battled so hard and stepped it up big time. Every member on the men's and women's team scored at least 1 point to help the team achieve this success" said Coach Mike Melfi.
"The first day was wicked hot and we traveled 6 hours, got off the bus and competed. Day 2, it rained the whole meet and was cool. We got through this because of how close this team is. We were the loudest team out there cheering each other on and that made a huge difference" said sophomore Grace Tanski.
