Timber Sports Competes at Cobleskill
Women's A
Our ESF Women's team crushed it this weekend, again taking first place overall and winning first in events such as bow saw, x-cut to hell, log roll, fire build, and pulp. Exceptional performances in logroll, bowsaw, and splitting left the competition far in the dust. Our team has dialed in to our strengths and weaknesses over the last two semesters, and we are confidently rolling into our last week of practice before the conclave this weekend!

Men's A
This weekend at Cobleskill the men’s team topped the score board continuing on their road to spring meet this upcoming weekend. Winning first in packboard, log roll, and the singles relay. With close second place finishes in bow saw, crosscut, crosscut to hell, fire build, and cord stack. The men’s team is gearing up and getting ready to go for this weekend's meet.

Jack and Jill A
Once again, the ESF Jack and Jill 1 team had a successful weekend at the SUNY Cobleskill home meet. Minor changes to the team's composition left the team with less than two practices together to prepare, and the weather was hot adding additional challenges to the day. However, they adapted and overcame these challenges, placing 3rd out of 10 competing jacks and jill teams. Notable performances were made in log roll, pulp, and doubles crosscut to death (performed by Paige Cadden and Evan Snyder) all with second place times. Other strong performances were made in crosscut, packboard run, and singles relay (a timed whole team relay consisting of axe throw, chainsaw cookie stack, bow saw, barrel split, single buck saw, and standing block) all producing third place times. With less than one week until the Northeast Woodsmen's Collegiate Conclave hosted by ESF, the team looks forward to further honing their performances to put on a good show and defend the Jack and Jill trophy.

Jack and Jill B
ESFs J&J2 had a great day at SUNY Cobleskill starting off with a strong pack board getting second. We then crushed the singles relay starting off with Theresa Patterson hitting the target first throw! Next was an amazing chord stock from Alyssa and Cole and then finishing with a strong performance in triples under hand chopping.
