Timbersports Competes at Alfred / Maple Weekend

This past weekend, ESF Timber Sports had a jam-packed weekend! On Saturday our four competing teams traveled to Alfred State college where the women's team upheld their first-place win streak by over 200 points, and our new Jack-and-Jill team 1 impressively took home second place in their division. We had lots of fun competing and cheering each other on through events like triathlon, team sawing, and packboard. On Sunday, we brought it back home hosting our annual maple weekend demo and pancake breakfast in collaboration with the ESF Forestry Club and forest properties. Many syrup covered pancakes were eaten and wood chopped, overall fundraising over 900$ We look forward to having a weekend off before our next highly anticipated meet at Finger lakes Community College!
