Robby Slater, Connor Stach and Sean White were able to secure second team all- American honors. Coach Melfi’s Comments: I have been very fortunate to work with such great student athletes year after year. This team could literally run itself. I’m a very lucky and happy coach. The women knew they were the favorite coming in, but anything can happen in a cross country race. We joked about a perfect score and they did it! The guys race was a little different. A few teams were aiming for us. The guys executed the game plan, the best I’ve ever seen. It was exact and precise every part of the race. They have worked so hard and I’m happy for each member on our team.
